For the implementation of the FAO Code of Conduct on the Distribution and Use of Pesticides
Contributions by non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to implementing sustainable plant protection systems are increasingly recognised and valued. The FAO Code of Conduct now also calls on NGOs to contribute towards reaching its aims. As can be seen below, NGOs are asked not only to play a role as a watch-dog and observer of Code implementation, but also to carry out training and to promote IPM.
