If you identify areas where improper use of highly toxic and hazardous pesticides are fairly common and/or where pesticides are used improperly even though pesticide users have been trained, attention should be drawn to the neues FensterFAO Code Art.7.5. This Article deals with the option to prohibit specific pesticide imports, and the sale and purchase of highly toxic and hazardous products such as those included in WHO class Ia and Ib. This means that the government should stop the import, sale and use of such pesticides.

If you regularly observe improper use of highly toxic and hazardous pesticides, prepare an accurate report. Send the documentation to your government and ask them to implement neues FensterFAO Code Art.7.5.Send a copy of the documentation to FAO Code Action.
