There have been serious and fatal incidents resulting from the repackaging or decanting
pesticides into food and beverage containers. The FAO Code (Art. 8.1.2, Art. 10.4) therefore explicitly
requires not only for a ban of such practices but also calls for rigidly enforced punitive measures
to deter such practices effectively.

If you see someone repacking or decanting a pesticide or if you see a repacked or decanted product immediately notify your government and ask for the implementation of FAO Code Art. 8.1.2. In addition inform FAO Code Action (please mention date, place, all information you can get about the kind and use of the pesticide and add an electronic photo, if possible).Message from
